Welcome to the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Our department offers programs leading to bachelor's degrees in Astronomy, Physics, and Physics Teaching; minors in Astronomy and Physics; and master's degrees in Physics, Physics Education, and Physics Teaching for the Community College. Currently there are about fifty undergraduate and graduate students majoring in our programs. The twelve faculty in our department pride themselves on the amount of individual attention they provide our students. Our department has a great deal to offer. Please come and visit us.
